Quacking the Case of the Berkshire Rubber Ducks

Every year thousands of investors flock to Omaha, Nebraska for the Berkshire Hathaway annual general meeting. They come not just to hear Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger (and now Buffett and his successors) speak, but also to browse a wide range of unique Berkshire memorabilia.

Although not as long-running as the classic Berkshire Bears collection, the Buffett & Munger Rubber Ducky series has been going strong since the 2013 AGM.

Initially created to celebrate Berkshire’s acquisition of the Oriental Trading Company in 2012, the ducks were popular enough to reappear in various new outfits almost every year since. From the original plain-suited 2013 ducks to the neon cape-clad superbirds of 2019, these cute figurines are a perfect splash of fun to liven up an office bookcase—or bring home to the kids.

Despite extensive investigation, I’m not sure if I’ve been able to find pictures of every set out there — I’m currently missing 2016, 2020, 2022, and 2023. So please, give me a shout if you own any Berkshire ducks not shown below. (Or, if you know the year of the Americana ducks in the last picture!)
